Brief Description: A typescript of newspaper articles from the Norfolk Gazette and Publick Ledger, published from June 9-13, 1808. Barron made an appeal to the publisher of the paper, John Cowper, to publish his defense before the court martial regarding the 1807 Chesapeake-Leopard Affair, which took place off the coast of Norfolk, Virginia.
