Biographical Note for Order of Cape Henry (1920-) : The Order of Cape Henry was established in 1920 to commemorate the arrival of the first settlers to Virginia in 1607. The pilgrimage to the cross at Cape Henry occurs yearly in the Spring, usually on the Sunday closest to April 26. Mrs. Frantz Naylor, Lillian Webb Naylor, was the President of the Order of Cape Henry and helped establish the annual pilgrimage.
