Biographical Note for Tucker, Lawrence F. (1889-1963) : Lawrence Fontaine Tucker was born on October 2, 1889 in Norfolk, Virginia. He served in the United States Army during World War I. Tucker married Jane Minerva Ruffin on December 19, 1929 in Norfolk, Virginia. He was head of the Engineering Department at Norfolk Building Supplies Corporation in Norfolk, Virginia. Tucker died on January 2, 1963 in Norfolk, Virginia and was buried at Eastern Shore Chapel Cemetery in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
