Biographical Note for McCurdey, George Newton (1903-1964) : George Newton McCurdey was born on March 16, 1903 in Norfolk, Virginia. He married Susan Lee Perkins Marshall on August 12, 1950 in Lima, Peru. McCurdey married Emerett Mae Knowlton on September 16, 1961 in Norfolk, Virginia. He was an auditor for a mining company. McCurdey died on November 2, 1964 and was buried at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Norfolk, Virginia.
