Brief Description: Circa 1955-1957 survey reports created by Dr. George H. Reese for the Virginia 350th Anniversary Celebration Corporation, Colonial Records Project, which describe original colonial manuscripts related to the colony of Virginia. The survey reports include name of the home depository, control number of the document, date or date range of materials, date document was examined and ordered for copying onto microfilm, references, and a summary of the materials assessed. The survey reports in this collection are numbered 1-638 and include separate series of manuscripts in French (F1-F148) and manuscripts found in Oxford, England (X1-X177).
