Scope and Contents: One circa 1975-1976 feasibility study for the restoration of flag officers' quarters at the naval station in Norfolk, Virginia. These homes were built for the Jamestown Exposition of 1907, and the study documents the history and design of the 17 buildings, along with recommendations for restoration. The study includes photographs and architectural drawings of the homes. The study was conducted by Spigel, Carter, Zinkl, Herman, Architects, with Craig & Stroud, Ltd., Structural Engineers; Vansant & Gusler, Mechanical Engineers; and Dr. James T. Matta of Environmental Consultants Inc., Entomologists.
