Brief Description: Personal correspondence of the Parker, Brooke, and Waldrop families. Much of the correspondence is between Mr. and Mrs. James H. Parker from 1937-1976. Other prominent correspondents include Ellen Douglass Waldrop, Ellen Brooke, Ellen Parker, and Warren L. Brooke. Also included are financial and travel records, wills and deeds, certificates, photographs, and miscellaneous records and artifacts such as academic papers and military uniform insignia. The collection also includes a circa 1880-1934 scrapbook belonging to Maria Shelby Fassman and a 1951-1952 scrapbook of Mr. and Mrs. James Harrison Parker relating to the United World Federalists of Virginia and Daughters of the American Revolution.
