Biographical Note for Mann, Nancy Wilson, 1912- (1912-1995) : Nancy Tucker Wilson Mann was born on February 24, 1912 in Williamsburg, Virginia. She was a teacher, freelance writer, and painter. Mann married John Metcalf Drewry on December 22, 1938 in Charlottesville, Virginia. She married James Mann, Jr. on May 2, 1970 in Norfolk, Virginia. Mann published Tylers and Gardiners On the Village Green in 1983. She was a member of various organizations, including Alliance Francaise, Poetry Society of Virginia, Norfolk Society of Arts, Virginia Writers Club, Tidewater Artists, Virginia Beach Center for the Arts, and Artists at Work. Mann died on February 19, 1995 in Virginia Beach, Virginia and was buried at Elmwood Cemetery in Norfolk, Virginia.
