Brief Description: Twenty-eight slides featuring prominently African American schools during the 1950s in Norfolk, Virginia. There are also images of prominent local figures during the ceremonies marking the demolition of S. C. Armstrong School in January 1953. Some of the slides have "Willie Mae Watson" printed on the reverse side.
