"Anne Vail" is handwritten on the front cover. There are lists of names and autograph signatures on the last two pages and back cover of the report.

49-page handwritten notebook of Norfolk, Virginia history. Postcards are pasted onto pages across from the historical narrative. There is a hand-drawn map of the Hampton Roads area on page 1, and there is a loose Camel cigarette accompanying page 31.
