Biographical Note

John E. Doyle was born around 1813 in Ireland. He married Mary J. Fitzgerald on October 26, 1841 in Norfolk, Virginia. Doyle was a merchant in Norfolk. He died on January 31, 1877 and was buried in Elmwood Cemetery in Norfolk, Virginia.
