Biographical Note

Robert "Bob" A. Cutchins, Jr. was born in 1923 in Virginia. He grew up in the Cradock section of Portsmouth, Virginia. Cutchins graduated from Cradock High School in 1940. He served in the United States Navy during World War II as a radioman. He married Ruth Ortt in 1949. Cutchins worked for Globe Iron Construction Company and retired in 1991. As of 2016, he lives in Norfolk, Virginia.
