Biographical Note

John Richard Moreland was born on November 28, 1878 in Norfolk, Virginia. He was an author and poet; Moreland established The Lyric poetry magazine in 1921. He died on November 12, 1947 in Norfolk, Virginia and was buried at Elmwood Cemetery in Norfolk, Virginia.
