Two letters: one written in Cairo, Egypt and the other in Florence, Italy around the time of British intervention in Egypt.
Biographical Note
Annie Jeannie Stone Stone was born in 1841. She was the second wife of Lieutenant General Charles Pomeroy Stone; they married in 1863. Stone died on January 9, 1924 and was buried at Mount Hope Cemetery in San Diego, California.
