One 1886 letter written to Mr. Savage, Wilson's relative from England, about visiting one another in their respective countries.

Biographical Note

Henry Parke Custis Wilson was born on March 5, 1827 in Somerset, Maryland. He married Alicia Brewer around 1858. Wilson was one of the first gynecological surgeons in the United States; he was a consulting gynecologist for several institutions in Baltimore, Maryland, including St. Vincent's, St. Agnes, and Johns Hopkins Hospital. Wilson died on December 27, 1897 in Baltimore, Maryland and was buried at Loudon Park Cemetery in Baltimore, Maryland.
