"On the E side the Bank of Virginia purchased a lot of 30 feet, which was entitled to the use of a 12 feet corner in common with W. J. Newton property. W. Newton paid half of the purchase money and added 6 feet to his front. The bank added 6 feet to theirs and they mutally agreed to have a street of 30 feet, which hereafter might answer as a continuation of Brewer Street."
