Biographical Note
Maebelle Matheis Watson was born on March 27, 1914 in Louisville, Kentucky. She married J. Edward Watson, Jr. Watson retired after 42 years as business manager of Mutual of Omaha. She was a member of Royster Memorial Presbyterian Church, president of the Tidewater District of the Virginia Federation of Women's Clubs, and volunteer for Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. She died on March 10, 2000 in Virginia Beach, Virginia and was buried at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Norfolk, Virginia.
