Scope and Contents of the Materials
Three handwritten manuscript volumes consisting of No. 19, 20, and 21 of Brief Abstract of Norfolk County Wills. The volumes cover 1636-1716, 1710-1753, and 1753-1766 respectively. Also includes one copy of Some Emigrants to Virginia belonging to C. F. McIntosh with handwritten inscriptions.
Biographical Note
Charles Fleming McIntosh was born on February 7, 1876 in Norfolk, Virginia. He married Elizabeth Nicholas Moore on October 16 in Berryville, Virginia. McIntosh served an attorney at law. He died on September 9, 1933 in Princess Anne County, Virginia and was buried at Elmwood Cemetery in Norfolk, Virginia.
