Scope and Contents of the Materials
Papers dated primarily circa 1970s-1990s, relating to the Colonial Place and Riverview neighborhoods in Norfolk, Virginia. Includes information from the Colonial Place-Riverview Conservation Project, an information sheet about the two neighborhoods, and meeting records of the Colonial Place-Riverview Civic League. This collection also includes early-1990s clippings and mid-1990s newsletters from a few of Norfolk's neighborhoods, along with circa 1982-1983 clippings related to busing in Norfolk.
Biographical Note
Norman Hall Pollock was born in 1933. He married Ethel Elaine Lutz. Pollock was a history professor at Old Dominion University from 1964-1998.
