Scope and Contents of the Materials

Photographic prints and negatives (mostly black and white) of various sections of the city of Norfolk, Virginia. Includes photographs of slums and redevelopment projects, construction of downtown buildings and roadways, and photographic documentation of buildings, commercial areas, and houses across the city. The collection also includes some aerial photographs.
