One circa 1807-1847 scrapbook belonging to Mrs. Mary W. Warren of Norfolk, Virginia. The scrapbook contains clippings from The American Beacon, The Herald, The Times, The Sun, Museum, and Norfolk. Subject matter includes marriages, deaths, news, economics, politics, poetry, anecdotes, jokes, Napoleon, and various other topics. There are a few handwritten pages on the weeping willow in England, hymn sung at the funeral of the late Mrs. Mead, "On Marriage," "The Alphabet of Requisites for a Wife," and "Lines composed some weeks since by a young gentleman aged 31, on his deathbed."
