Historical Note: Lena Rosa Knecht Conley was born on December 25, 1916 in Norfolk, Virginia. She married George Wallace Conley on June 30, 1946 in Norfolk, Virginia. Conley graduated from Old Dominion University in 1961. She was a member of Larchmont United Methodist Church and the Eastern Star. Conley died on January 6, 1999 and was buried at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia.
