Biographical Note for Baugh and Sons Company : Baugh and Sons Company was founded in Chester County, Pennsylvania by John Pugh Baugh and his sons, Edwin P. and Daniel, in 1855. The company had factories and sales offices in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Norfolk, Virginia; Oneida, New York; Baltimore, Maryland; New Bern, North Carolina; and Canton, Ohio. Baugh and Sons was a fertilizer manufacturer specializing in finely-ground animal bones.
