Biographical Note for Todd, Westwood A. (1831-1886) : Westwood A. Todd was born on May 30, 1831 in Smithfield, Virginia. He attended the College of William and Mary and graduated in 1852. Todd was an attorney and notary. He served for the Confederacy in the Civil War as a private, and then as an Ordinance Officer of Mahone's Brigade. Todd died on May 27, 1886 in Norfolk, Virginia and was buried at Elmwood Cemetery in Norfolk, Virginia.
