Collection Historical Note

The Virginia Symphony Orchestra is a Norfolk-based American orchestra. It began in 1920 and is currently active under Music Director JoAnn Falletta.

Biographical Note

Linda Althoff is a retired viola player and musician who worked with the Virginia Symphony between the years of 1964 and 2002.
