Biographical Note
Norview Lions Club is a member of Lions Clubs International, a world-wide community service organization. The Norview Lions Club was sponsored by Ocean View Lions Club and chartered on March 20, 1947. The organization began with 32 members, including Michael W. Leach as president, George T. Byrd, Jr. as secretary, and George Ray Bailey as treasurer. Major organizations that have partnered with the Norview Lions Club include: Old Dominion Eye Bank, Leader Dogs for the Blind, and the Youth Exchange Program.
