Biographical Note
Beatrice Barbara Steele Buchanan was born on March 10, 1930 in Norfolk, Virginia. She attended Maury High School. Buchanan married Edward Jordan Buchanan, Jr. on January 19, 1952 in Norfolk, Virginia. The couple lived in Alexandria, Virginia; Beacon, New York; and Brunswick, Maine.
