Biographical Note
William Snead Graham was born on April 15, 1886 in Lynchburg, Virginia. He married Ruth Tunstall on April 15, 1915 and the couple lived in Norfolk, Virginia for more than 40 years. Graham was district manager for several businesses, including The Koppers Coal Company; Castner, Curran & Bullitt, Inc.; New England Coal & Coke Company; Mystic Steamship Company; Elkhorn Piney Coal Mining Company; and The Eastern Gas and Fuel Association. He died on February 15, 1948 in Norfolk, Virginia and was buried at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Norfolk, Virginia.
