Historical Note: Paul Lee Rose was born in 1880. He married Enna Cromwell around 1901, and they were divorced by 1920. Rose was a detective for the Norfolk police division; he was remembered for his fearlessness while serving the department. At the time of his death, Rose was listed as an upholsterer. He died on October 12, 1945 in Norfolk, Virginia and was buried at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Norfolk, Virginia.
