Biographical Note
Laura Jane Dozier Young was born on April 8, 1946 in Norfolk, Virginia. She married Richard Alan Young on October 1, 1970 at Forest Grove Chapel in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Young attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and received a master's degree in library science in 1971. She worked as a reference librarian at Norfolk Public Library in Norfolk, Virginia. Young currently resides in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
