Biographical Note
Bertha Waddell Beall was born on September 29, 1905 in Lonaconing, Maryland. She moved to Norfolk, Virginia in 1936 and married Walter Eugene Beall. Beall was a member of Ocean View Presbyterian Church, Ocean View Garden Club, and Norfolk Historical Society. She was a volunteer for Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters, American Red Cross, and Navy Relief. Beall died on August 13, 1982 in Norfolk, Virginia and was buried at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Norfolk, Virginia.
