Scope and Contents of the Materials
Two 1948-1980 scrapbooks containing photographs, postcards, a diploma, a photocopied birth certificate, and other materials relating to James Eugene Stephenson II, who served as a lieutenant in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Scrapbook 1 is inscribed "Christmas, 1975 To James E. Stephenson II With love, Mother and Dad" and primarily features family photographs from 1948 to 1970. Scrapbook 2 is inscribed "Deborah Stephenson, The War" and contains photographs from 1970 of James Eugene Stephenson II and his experiences as a soldier in South Vietnam.
