Historical Note: Ghent Neighborhood League is a city-recognized civic association in Norfolk, Virginia. It formed in 1962 "to coordinate citizen interest and activity in preserving the neighborhood." As of March 1963, the League had more than 500 members. The Ghent Neighborhood League is comprised of Ghent homeowners and encompasses the area bound by the Hague, Colonial Avenue, 21st Street, and Hampton Boulevard.
