Name: Parker, Copeland (1768-1830)

Historical Note: Copeland Parker was born on February 7, 1768 in Isle of Wight County, Virginia. He married Elizabeth Sinclair on January 25, 1796 in Gates County, North Carolina. Around 1810, he married Diana Robinson Hall. Parker was Surveyor of Customs for the Port of Smithfield, Virginia for 30 years. He died on December 4, 1830 in Isle of Wight and was buried at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Norfolk, Virginia.
