Historical Note: Moses Goldsmith Nusbaum was born on November 7, 1872 in Norfolk, Virginia. He married Maidie Goodman, circa 1906. Nusbaum was an antiques merchant for about 10 years and ran a book and art store for about 30 years prior to that. He provided books for the collection of former President William Howard Taft. Nusbaum was a member of Ohef Sholom Temple. He died on December 22, 1948 in Norfolk, Virginia and was buried at Forest Lawn Mausoleum in Norfolk, Virginia.
