G. Warren Driskill's Courthouse Photographs, 1977-1987, 1989, 1991 | Sargeant Memorial Collection

Scope and Contents: Photographs of courthouses taken between 1977 and 1989 representing all 95 existing counties of Virginia. There are also courthouse photographs of former Warwick (Newport News), Nansemond (Suffolk), and Norfolk (present day Portsmouth) counties in this collection. There are no courthouse photographs for Elizabeth City (Hampton) or Princess Anne (Virginia Beach) counties. In addition to courthouses, this collection also contains photographs of notable buildings, social gatherings, infrastructure, and other places of interest in the state of Virginia.
