One 1925-1935 sports scrapbook, one circa 1947-1948 notebook of information regarding the Norfolk Fire Department, one map of Cape Henry, Virginia, and photographs taken primarily in Norfolk, Virginia.

Biographical Note

John Robert Biddle was born on October 16, 1913 in Norfolk, Virginia. He worked for the American Tobacco Company as a processing plant supervisor. Biddle married Bernice Pritchard Owens on June 14, 1952 in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. He married Ann Rowena Polk on May 10, 1971 in Miami-Dade County, Florida. Biddle was a member of Christ Lutheran Church. He died on January 25, 2004 in Norfolk, Virginia and was buried at Elmwood Cemetery in Norfolk, Virginia.
