Scope and Contents: Personal and family papers and photographs of Lucile Perryman Bybee Portlock of Norfolk, Virginia. The collection includes correspondence to Portlock, photograph albums of her eldest child Lucile "Billie," and genealogy of the Bybee family conducted both personally and professionally by Edgar T. Brown from the mid-1970s to late-1980s. There is also a family Bible that belonged to her parents, Harry Rainey Bybee and Lucile DuVall Perryman, a photo album created by Portlock's mother during her time at Georgetown College, and miscellaneous publications relating to her father's chiropractic business in Norfolk. The family photographs primarily encompass the Bybee and Portlock families.
