Scope and Contents: Thirty-five black-and-white photographs and four negatives featuring art created by A. B. Jackson, an African American painter who lived in Norfolk, Virginia. Each photograph is labeled on the back with information on the artist, title and date, media and size, credit line, and Chrysler Museum inventory number if applicable. The original artwork was created using a variety of media including woodcut, charcoal, oil, acrylic, chalk, watercolor, and ink, and most of the artwork features individuals or groups of people.
