One March 12, 1841 letter from Daniel Galpin of Berlin, Connecticut discussing points of difference about abolitionism between himself and Levi Yale of Meriden, Connecticut.

Biographical Note

Deacon Daniel Galpin was born circa 1756 in Connecticut. He served during the Revolutionary War. Galpin was an avid abolitionist. He died on July 9, 1844 and was buried either at Glendale Cemetery in Akron, Ohio or Bridge Cemetery in Berlin, Connecticut.
