Scope and Contents of the Materials
This collection is comprised of printed material and photographs collected by Harry E. Paul. Included are four Speed Victory newspapers from the Norfolk Naval Shipyard between 1944 and 1945; one undated newspaper clipping featuring an image of Harry E. Paul; one letter from the Quartermen and Leadingmen's Association of the Norfolk Navy Yard dated August 6, 1945; and, one photograph with envelope of Louis Edwards, a porter for New York, Philadelphia, and Norfolk (NYP&N) and Pennsylvania Railroads.

- Series 1: Publications, 1944-1945, undated

- This series consists of publications to include four newspapers published by the Norfolk Naval Shipyard entitled "Speed Victory." The newspapers contained are dated October 5, 1944; April 5, 1945; two copies of the August 9, 1945 editions; and, an undated newspaper clipping featuring Harry E. Paul, then-president of the organization, Master Painting and Decorating Contrators of Tidewater Virginia. Featured in the clipping is also S. Romano, who was the secretary-treasurer, and not pictured, J. G. Whitehurst, vice president.
