Scope and Contents of the Materials

This collection contains Maury High School memorabilia inserted inside of two yearbooks, The Blue Book from 1916 and The Commodore from 1917. The official yearbook for Maury High School changed its name from The Blue Book to The Commodore between years 1916 and 1917. The memorabilia includes labels identifying people in group portraits, commencement programs for the graduating class of 2017, and a portrait photograph of a woman holding an infant.

Item 1: Members of the Mazaida Society, 1916

A label attached to the group photograph of page 140 of The Blue Book yearbook that identifies the members of the Mazaida Society. The label contains eight lines of text, transcribed as follows:
