Scope and Contents: The drawing drafted by J.A. Parks depicts the Arena Stage/Center Theater complex from the northeast of an Army and Navy Recreation Building designed by architects C. A. Neff and T. David Fitz-Gibbon, circa 1941-1943. The building is designed in the international style with some streamlined modern elements. Construction of the building is reinforced concrete with Indiana limestone cladding and glass block fenstration arranged in vertical and horizontal ribbons.
