Fifty-three letters written between the Page and Jones families. Frequent correspondents include Edmonia Lee Page Neilson, Mary Ann Mason Jones, Hall Neilson, and Jane Byrd Page. Most of the correspondence was sent between Richmond, Virginia and Washington, D. C.
Biographical Note
Edmonia Lee Page Neilson was born around 1811 at Fairfield in Frederick County, Virginia. She married Hall Neilson on January 16, 1832 in Washington, D. C. The couple had three children: Ann, William, and Edmonia. She died on December 21 or 23, 1834 and was buried at Shockoe Hill Cemetery in Richmond, Virginia.
