One typescript copy of Westwood A. Todd's 1882 memoir of the Civil War, covering the time period from April 1861 through July 1865.

Biographical Note

Westwood A. Todd was born on May 30, 1831 in Smithfield, Virginia. He attended the College of William and Mary and graduated in 1852. Todd was an attorney and notary. He served for the Confederacy in the Civil War as a private, and then as an Ordinance Officer of Mahone's Brigade. Todd died on May 27, 1886 in Norfolk, Virginia and was buried at Elmwood Cemetery in Norfolk, Virginia.
