Name: Bennett, Annie Capps

Historical Note: Annie W. Capps Bennett was born in 1860 in Norfolk, Virginia, the daughter of Enoch and Sarah Ann Capps. Annie was a schoolteacher at the Leache-Wood Seminary. She lived in Italy for several years following a trip to Europe in 1891. Annie married John Alvin Bennett on October 28, 1903 in Rome, Italy. She died on October 5, 1936 in Boston, Massachusetts.
